day 12: light
i just got off work and didn't take any pictures so i took one of a light bulb in my bathroom. it's an ordinary bulb but i got to putting effects to the picture and it was just so fun. you can really create different pics, just out of this world. it kinda looks like a sun, a crazy angry sun. i added all kinds of effects, maybe too much. gotta go to bed.

day 11: blur
i was setting up this picture when my table mates started teasing about me having a crush on the bus boy. so i panicked and got a blurry photo. it was up at the portland city grill, a nice restaurant 30 stories high in the us bank building. we were there for my co-worker's birthday. it is a really nice place and you can see all the lights of portland, really spectacular. i wondered if you work there and see the city lights everyday if it becomes just another thing.

day 10: dish bubbles

day 9: bubbles
it took all my energy to take this shot without popping the bubbles. how can you resist, really? it's just fun to play with. i like the effect of blur and background colors, you could really play with it and do lots of stuff. i love taking digipics cause you can just be creative and do random things like bubble wrap!

day 8: pills

day 7: fruit
i love to eat. i have been reading food blogs lately, especially ones with good pictures like mattbites and tastespotting. when i am bored i think/read/dream about food. fruit is the one food group i know i don't get enough of. i usually have a banana in the morning but other than that, not much. so i am trying to eat more fruit. i like most fruit. it's not that i don't like it, its that i can't bite into anything hard (like apples) because i have weak roots. so that makes it harder to eat fruits, i also don't like to peel things more difficult than a banana. juicy pears are great though!
day 6: cube
light, glass, no flash, angles, curves. i find i like taking pictures of inanimate things and making them come to life somehow. using different angles you can see different aspects of a previously boring or simple thing. just experimenting with different angles and settings is what makes photography fun. you can take so many different pictures of the same thing, it's great!

day 5: tunnel vision
the picture itself was pretty cool with the lines and curves in it. you gotta love digital pictures and the fun stuff you can do to them though. i added some saturation, focal B&W and blur. it's a pretty cool effect, kind of dreamy. this is how i feel sometimes when i am walking, i have my goal or destination and everything around me kind of blurs and doesn't matter. i can get lost in a state of thoughtlessness, as long as i am headed in the right direction.
